Incorporating larger, beefier turbos able to withstand the rigors of extended use at higher boost pressures, the Torque-Master Turbos offer more horsepower and torque, even at stock boost pressures due to their ability to flow a higher volume of air. An
even more popular item for the masses is the larger Spearco Intercooler. Featuring a bar and plate design, the Spearco intercooler offers approximately 50% more volume for charge air-cooling. In addition to better charge air-cooling, which adds horsepower and torque, the all welded aluminum construction adds reliability, particularly over some of the plastic end tanks starting to be used by some manufacturers.
The combination of the larger turbo and intercooler are capable of supporting an increase of over 200 horsepower. These are both bolt-on upgrade items, which require no cutting or welding.
