Sasha Singleton... the name alone conjures up thoughts of one of the hottest models in the import industry today. She practically invented the role of models in the car show scene, having got her start in the scene over 5 years ago before it became the national phenomenon that it is today.

Tell us a little bit about Ms. Sasha Singleton?
I'm half Thai, half Irish. I love to shop for shoes and purses, I'm addicted! I enjoy cooking new foods, but Thai is my absolute favorite, with Italian and Mexican coming in next. I like to watch HGTV and MTV. I am a bit of a shy person, but once you get to know me I open up. Even though I am a "Model", I keep myself grounded and real...I don't see myself as different from anyone else.

Do you speak Thai?
Yes, I speak Thai. I've been to Thailand many times, and hopefully going again this year, because I love Thai food, the beaches over there are great and so is the shopping!

How did you get started in the modeling scene?
I attended a show back in 1998 and was spotted by a company called Pro-Motion. I worked for them, then got contacted by Hot Import Nights to be "Miss HIN 1999-2000" and landed the cover of some well known import magazines as well as a Playboy feature. From then on everyone just knew who I was.

What have been your best & worst experiences from working in the import industry?
I love to meet all my different fans from around the world. I think my fans are awesome. I also love to travel to new places, and modeling has enabled me to do so almost every weekend! The worst experiences I have had are coming across all the fake people who try to backstab you and use you to further their career. You wouldn't believe all the drama that goes on in this scene!

Three words to describe yourself?
Sexy, spontaneous and loyal.

What would be your dream job?
I am doing my dream job right now. But in the future, it would be to become a pharmacist.

So we hear you're a big drinker, what's your favorite drink?
I love nectarine & lychee martinis which you cannot find at too many places. After that would be Kettle One straight up!

Tell us about your best "fan" experience?
I have so many wonderful fans, it's hard to single out just one experience. I've had a fan who tattooed my face onto his arm, fans who have travelled hours just to see me at a show, fans who have made things for me like sketches and paintings of myself. I think my best experience would have to be the undying support and love that they all have shown me.

How bout your worst "fan" experience?
Sometimes the flattery and attention can get kind of freaky when someone is just obsessed with you and cannot leave you alone. I don't like people that are very persistant or try to touch you.

What has been your biggest accomplishment outside of the modeling/import scene?
I have been a Playboy magazine feature several times, and a regular on Playboy TV shows such as "Sexy Girls Next Door" (June 2004), "Weekend Flash" and "Nightcalls". You can also play to win me as your girlfriend in the new videogame from NamCo called "SRS: Street Racing Syndicate" which will be released this fall. I have been a centerfold for Thai Vogue and I am also in the MethodMan/RedMan video/movie coming out this summer and featured in countless calendars, DVD's, videos, and posters.

What are three things that you just can't live without?
Three things I can't live without would be Ginger Ale, DirecTV, and buying purses... like I have to do that once a month, that's just my obsession!

What's the best place you've ever been to?
The best place I've ever been to I'd have to say was Belize. I did a shoot there in the rainforest, it was in the jungle. It was very different from the U.S. and it was so peaceful and tropical. I'd probably move there if I had a choice!
